Description
This is a rare find! Only sold at one store in the whole world, Prince's favorite record store, The Electric Fetus! Once people start opening these, they get scratched, broken etc. there will be fewer than 1,984 sealed mint ones left only enhancing the value and rarity of your sealed album, that is should you choose to keep it sealed or have more than one, one to enjoy and one to part with when the value increases! I am a member of the Prince Fam and knew him for 29 years and have more memorabilia I will be selling in the future. Please note the picture shows two albums (front and back), however, only one is being sold in this auction. Don't miss this limited opportunity to buy an album that is certain to become more rare and valuable as time goes on!! I do not have the purple store bag but may come up with some in the future and will keep your address and ship for free under separate cover at a later time, if you would like me to get one for you. The album will ship with the brown paper bag with purple print shown in the photos.

Recorded July 1984 at Flying Cloud Drive Warehouse, Eden Prairie, MN
Michael Howe is the Prince Estate’s official Vault Archivist, and had the following to say: “I spotted the two-inch multitrack reel in the Vault some weeks back while doing a 1984-era inventory. After retrieving my jaw from the floor, we took the reel upstairs, analyzed it, put it up on the Studer 24 track machine, and digitized it to 24/192. Even our ‘faders up’ rough mix was compelling enough to indicate that this was something very special indeed.”
