Description

Prince – Purple Rain – 1984 – A great album from Prince and the Revolution. There was a movie of the same name, of which this was the soundtrack. The music has stood the test of time. No comment about the movie. This album is more innovative than previous’s previous funky outings, combining more rock elements. It contains five hit singles, two of them Number Ones; When Doves Cry and Let’s Go Crazy, on which Prince plays a Hendrix-inspired guitar solo.
