Description
The record is in pretty good condition, except label torn on Soft & Wet side. Please see pictures for details. Sleeve is worn and has some ring wear, but overall very good. This was Prince's second single ever, and the 1st commercial release with a picture sleeve (there is a promo with sleeve for "Just As Long As We're Together" that came out before this one.) It is very rare to find this one for sale. I bought it as part of a large collection of Prince promotional material in 1998, which included some items not circulating. It was purchased used and I am selling it now, just as it was when I bought it almost 20 years ago.

The internet is a great thing, but when someone decides to slander and spread lies about you in order to prevent you from selling anything, it is hard to know what to do about it. I am working to try to prevent this cyberbully, and his friend David, from doing this. They have both attacked me on Discogs as well. Some Prince fans get upset if anyone has anything they do not already have in their collections. If it is a bootleg, they will attack it, if it is legit but they do not own, they will attack it. They are the WORST kinds of humans and if Prince were alive today, he'd be embarrassed that idiots and cheats like these guys pretend to be his fans, when all they really are are hoarders of Prince merchandise of every type, trying to corner the market so they can rip people off. Before they started posting claims of inauthenticity, they offered me an amount less than what I am asking to sell to them directly, outside of eBay. I refused, so now they claim everything in my collection---Albums, videos, records, tapes, posters and Prince promo displays---isn't "real" and they are spreading this lie far and wide (despite my 100% positive feedback here in ebay--all for Prince-related items). The internet, Facebook and eBay, offers no recourse when someone decides to target a person in this way. Adding this note to my auction is my only recourse so far, but I am very much looking into ANY other options to stop these 2 "Prince experts" (con artists) from fooling the Prince community into believing that theirs is the ONLY legit collection of Prince records. These are 2 dutch guys with NO affiliation with Prince or Warner Bros or Paisley Park. They just started pretending to be expects to drive people away from buying things they prefer to buy cheaper and under the table. Sorry for rant, but needed to be said
