Description
This is an excellent (NM/VG+) copy of "The Rainbow Children" by Prince. This 2001 release on his own label NPG Records is much lauded, but nearly impossible to find on vinyl. The double album is in beautiful shape and still has the original shrink and sticker. It contains a full-sized lyric booklet as well. I am the only owner of this record and I purchased it when it was released in 2001.
The jacket is NM and the platters are in VG+ condition. The albums are mostly in EX shape, but please note that there are a couple of minor blemishes: 1) there's a scuff and bit of surface noise at the beginning of side B ("The Work") and 2) a small scuff and accompanying noise at the beginning of "She Loves Me 4 Me" on side C. Both of these blemishes play through without skipping or sticking, but they are audible and would be remiss not to mention them. This a great copy for someone who wants to play there albums, but not for someone who wants a pristine copy to squirrel away. When I used to sell instruments, we'd always say that the small defects let you know it's yours. :)
Overall, the albums are in beautiful shape and this is a very nice copy of this incredibly rare album!
