Prison Worksongs original Louisiana Folklore Society blues LP with booklet 1959 LSF A-5, rare prison blues from the 1950s. Clean unfaded cover with small corner bumps and a couple bumps to other edges. No smudges or scratches to cover. Very very nice. Glossy excellent vinyl and labels. Superb copy. Clean booklet with tape to hold it together in upper left corner. Recorded in Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola in 1959.
Singing by Big Louisiana, Rev. Rogers, Roosevelt Charles, Guitar Welch, Hogman Maxey, Andy Mosely, Jose Smith, Odea Matthews, james Russsell, Johnny Butler, Arthur Davis, Willy Rufus and Robert Pete Williams.
