Description
Pristine 2nd pressing of the Paul Chambers Sextet's majestic LP Whims of Chambers, Blue Note BLP 1534. This copy was manufactured approximately a year after the LP originally appeared, and so its overall excellence reflects its close proximity to 1st pressing.
This copy is pressed on beautiful thick heavyweight vinyl and features Plastylite "Ear," RVG hand-etched into the dead wax, and original frame cover. Back cover address is "Blue Note Records, 767 Lexington Ave, New York 21." Both labels are deep groove, but one label has Lexington address while the other label has the New York 23 address (thus indicating a 2nd pressing).

Vinyl: NM-. Gorgeous heavyweight vinyl is glossy with beautiful sheen. Labels are clean and clear. Except for the barest whisper of noise at beginning of each side, the LP is flawless, without clicks pops or skips of any kind. Side A has some very light "cloudy" smudges that have no affect on playback. Sound quality is superb as one would expect. See photos for details.
Cover: VG+. Frame cover retains original bright matte finish and color. There is a bit of wrinkling commensurate with age and three small "rubs" against the edge of LP opening exposing cardboard underneath. Back cover is clear and clean with the smallest indentation and discoloration near production credits. Seams are tight but with some wear, especially upper left corner. Otherwise, cover is structurally sound and solidly intact. See photos for details.
LP will come in protective Mobile Fidelity archive-quality sleeve. Cover will come in thick vinyl protective sleeve.
