Description

I am speculating as to whether my description of this disc is totally 
accurate.
I believe that these informal heavy shellac sides are private 
recordings of Hoagy Carmichael accompanying himself on the piano, 
and recorded at the home of a rich friend (Sherman Mills Fairchild?), 
who gave them out as gifts.
The sides are SMF-1 "Kinda Lonesome" and SMF-3 "Eventide."

The 78rpm disc is in excellent to excellent-minus (E to E-) condition 
with a couple of very light isolated ticks on Eventide.
