Procol Harum, A Salty Dog. This is the original UK stereo issue of Procol Harum's third album. Recorded in March at EMI Studios, London and released in June 1969. The fully laminated Sleeve is in EX Condition, the plain company inner is in EX Condition & the Record is in EX Condition. This has the original rough red & silver Regal Zonophone labels, with the 'Sold in the UK..&..The Gramophone Co....' label texts, the A-1 B-1 matrices & 1-R 1-O Stampers of the very first pressings! Description
Original UK Regal Zonophone red label stereoo press LP.This is Procol Harum's third studio album, recorded in March 1969 at EMI Studios, London and released in June 1969. It was the last album with the original line up as Matthew Fisher left after producing the LP and bassist Dave Knights followed soon after. It was their most successful album to date making it to no.27 in the UK.
This is the original pressing with the first label variant with the rough red Regal Zonophone labels with the 'Sold In The UK....& The Gramophone Co...' label texts and the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices and 1-R 1-O stampers of the very first pressings!
The fully laminated sleeve sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner wear and some light laminate rubbing and a couple of small creases on the cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain company inner is intact & in EX condition.
The record is in visually EX condition, with only a couple of faint hairlines and one or two light needle marks & scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of only one or two faint spindle markings on each side.
The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves. Overall, a really great, loud and clear listen.
The matrix nos. are; YCARX-57-1 stamper 1-R, YCARX-58-1 stamper 1-O. This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1969 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!

All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg.
Royal Mail post to Europe (All EU countries & non EU countries, including Russia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, etc.), the Rest of the World (Zone 1, including Canada, Japan, Brazil, Korea, China, South Africa, etc.) and the Rest of the World Zones 2 & 3 (the USA, Australia & New Zealand etc).
All Airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to 2kg weight restrictions.
