Wow! What a find! Here's a great collection of production albums suitable for producing radio or TV commercials, or any other type of audio, assuming you have a turntable in your studio. These are among the recent things I have discovered from the former studios of a radio station. This set is brand new without so much as a mark on the album covers. The records are are also in near mint condition, and appear to have never been played.
There's enough variety of music to produce almost anything immaginable. This series is called "The Cat" custom audio traxx, creative advertising thematics. They were distributed by General Media Broadcast Services, Inc. about 1985. The great thing about most of this type of product is that it seldom sounds dated. Most of the music cuts are commercial or "spot" length, i.e. 30 or 60 second cuts. Some are slightly longer, like 1:02, or slightly shorter, like :59 or :29.
Most of what's here is the 7000 series, including discs 7001-7079, 7081-7099, and discs 7100, 7102 and 7103. The sound effects discs included are MGSFX-1 through MGSFX-20.
The total number of records is 121 pieces. I have securely packed these in two boxes and will ship them to your door FREE via media mail. Media mail is not the fastest way, but certainly the least expensive, since records are heavy.
