Description

Two LP's of great New Orleans piano with Near Mint vinyl. The Atlantic LP is considered by most to be the Professor's best LP with tracks recorded in 1949 and 1953 in great Mono sound. Some slight edgewear on the gatefold cover and writing next to song titles in light ballpoint pen. Excellent liner notes by Mike Leadbitter. Rock 'N' Roll Gumbo was released in 1985 and has two extra tracks that a previous version left off. Mastered by the great Bernie Grundman. Recorded in 1974 this is one of Fess's best LP's with one killer track after another. Near Mint vinyl with some cover wear. An old price sticker on the front cover. Original inner sleeve (with some rippling) that has a nice rice paper inner portion. Great package of wonderful New Orleans grease in one package.US buyer to pay a flat $4.00 for USPS Media Mail shipping. Overseas shipping is $18.00 for Air Mail. Both LP's are cleaned on a pro VPI record cleaning machine for dead quiet background noise. You will hear the difference!
