Double LP set from Kevin Ayers titled "Joy Of A Toy/Shooting At The Moon" released by Harvest/EMI Records (SHDW 407) in 1975. U.K. pressing. Repackage as part of the Harvest Heritage series. Kevin Ayers first two solo albums from 1969 and 1970 after leaving Soft Machine. First album Joy Of A Toy has remaining members of Soft Machine helping out, especially Robert Wyatt. Second album Shooting At The Moon was performed by Ayers' next group The Whole World line-up that included David Bedford (RIP), Lol Coxhill, Mick Fincher and a very young Mike Oldfield. Both albums boast Ayers' eccentric songwriting with plenty of weird instrumental diversions into experimental/psychedelic territory. Essential!

All labels are in EXCELLENT condition. Both vinyl records are in VG++/EXCELLENT condition with nice luster, a few light surface marks and play with some light, sporadic vinyl tics that do not distract...sounds great! Cover is in VG+ condition with light wear at corners, creasing in lower right corner and very slight ringwear. NO RESERVE. Winner pays $4.00 media mail in the U.S. Priority mail and insurance are available at buyers expense.
