PLEASE CONSIDER THAT IN THESE EBAY AUCTIONS I USE A STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE GRADING SYSTEM THAT CAN'T DISAPPOINT ANYONE BUT THIS DOESN'T MEAN THAT ,FOR EXAMPLE, A VG+ COVER OR A VG+ VINYL IT'S EQUIVALENT TO "BAD CONDITIONS" BUT SIMPLY THAT MY GRADE IT'S STRICT AND PROBABLY EQUIVALENT TO AN EX OF SOMEONE ELSE WITH NOT A SO STRICT GRADE. I HAVE SOLD IN THESE AUCTIONS EX- RECORDS THAT WERE SURELLY M- COPIES BUT I PREFERE TO BE STRICT TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTEMENT BECAUSE I TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY REPUTATION.
Record Collector Magazine Grading System MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
The auctioned item it's a 3 stars on 6 in the Hans Pokora 3001 book
graded VG+/EX- for a strict Record Collector Grading system
label: The original private label it's in very nice conditions without spindle wear and nothing else so EX.
cover: The cover it's unlaminated and gatefold and it's in great shape except a minimal imperfection in the back close to the bottom part of spine. For what I can understand there's a small tear and someone has glued without so great care and so there's a white residue of the glue but as said the rest it's great so VG+.
vinyl: The Vinyl look great and I can't see marks and he plays perfect on my deck so EX- to be safe.
review: I'm in ebay most of my time and in the records collecting since more than 35 years and I love the folk music especially the acid and psychedelic folk but also something of traditional folk if we speak of very inspired music with modern arrangements maybe with a beautiful female vocal too but I know that 90% of traditional music it's unnecessary especially when buyed for expensive prices, I have see 400 pounds offered for rare records but absolutelly rubbish so I'll appreciate if when you came across my folk auctions do you remember that for me the folk it's a very loved music and I don't offer rubbish for gold and if in dubt please ask and I let you know my super honest collector opinion.
Here on offer it's one of the European best examples of progressive folk. This is a Dutch group that pressed some hundreds of copies for this basically religious label that in my experience don't made so interesting records except this one that it's simply fantastic. This is one of the typical folk records that must have any collector that it's more a prog that a folk collector but need to have in his collection the best progressive folk examples and so Trees, Tudor Lodge, Mushroom, Fresh Maggotts, Spirogyra stuff or similars so my question it's why this is not? This is the strange mystery of the collection market anyway this is a top quality album with male and sublime female, great progressive come here from rock, blues and jazz so here you can find the best mixing possible between the folk and the modern music, great electric guitar solos that denote a great player ability like Alan Holdsworth in my opinion, flute, 12 string guitar to. Pressed in some hundreds of copies so absolutelly rare...my question it's: what do you need more???? ... Don't miss!
