Description
The original version of this disc has been rated as a “super disc” by the legendary Harry Pearson. The version for sale here is not just from the very special Classic Records reissue series, but is an audiophile’s dream…on four outstanding still factory sealed 45rpm discs. Each 45rpm LP is single sided to reduce mechanical feedback by optimizing the turntable platter’s ability to better absorb mechanical resonance. In addition, quality 45rpm recordings are much sought after because they can present a better sound stage with greater fidelity than the 33rpm versions. I have been a serious record collector for many years, who still misses the scent of vinyl from the mostly departed record stores. This is from my private collection of many thousands of recordings. I am at the stage where I plan to sell most of my collection over the next years, keeping only my desert island choices. This is a very special set recorded during what many consider to be the golden age of hi-fi.
