Description
I purchased this album new and listened to it only once (the last picture shows the bag still sealed within the generic white sleeve and Classic Record labeling sticker on the top right corner). Album came with the Classic Records cover (not in shrink) which I have since placed in a protective sleeve. Numerically I am scoring the vinyl a 90, a solid A- for a defect within the pressing which you can see in the Side A picture. At about the 4 position there is a white fleck (I don't know what it is really, it was there out of the bag and despite a light cleaning it was still there) there resulting in a series of 3 full ticks and 1 light tick on the final pass; the only consolation with this defect is that it is essentially right at the beginning of the album and I was able to get by it relatively quickly (I knew I was going to hear something too, I was hoping for nothing but, and I was listening through headphones, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be; think of it like some uncouth parvenu showing up at the Opera House 30 seconds too late and making a quick bad scene, that's what the pops are like). Being that it's the only defect I can't in good faith to the overall quality of this pressing take off any more than 10 points (I score records like school with A's being near mint and B's being excellent. This record is no B). Upon purchase the vinyl was placed into a Mofi sleeve. Regarding shipping the album will be shipped between cardboard with the vinyl outside of the jacket in a cardboard album mailer. If you have any questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
