Neil Young with Crazy Horse - 'Everybody Knows this is Nowhere'

(US Original White Label promo on REPRISE (W7)  # RS 6349 from 1969)

Label/Sleeve -> Ultra Rare on White Label promo. Reprise Steamboat label with Reprise-W7 logo on the label.

Thick cardboard gatefold sleeve with the paste on paper outside and inside. Original W7 – Reprise Inner Sleeve.

Description  -> Vinyl is in decent shape with some surface scuffs. Plays with fantastic fidelity with light Background crackle noticeable but that doesn’t lessen the enjoyment of this record.

The Cover is thick cardboard gatefold and has some light general rub wear. Corners show slightly more wear as compared to the cover or the edge of the spine(See picture) ALL Seams and Spine Intact and clean except top spine which has a split 1.5 inch and barely visible.. NO Writing. (See picture).

Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere was breathtakingly different when it appeared in May 1969, both for Young and for rock in general, and it reversed his commercial fortunes, becoming a moderate hit. (Young's joining Crosby, Stills & Nash the month after its release didn't hurt his profile, of course.) A year and a half after its release, it became a gold album, and it has since gone platinum. And it set a musical pattern Young and his many musical descendants have followed ever since; almost 30 years later, he was still playing this sort of music with Crazy Horse, and a lot of contemporary bands were playing music clearly influenced by it.
