Description
A fairly scarce record from the German Grammophon label featuring two upbeat spirited marches performed by the Musikkorps der Fliegerhorst Kommandantur Kõnigsberg I Neumark. On one side is Propeller Frei! a march dedicated to the airmen "Glück ab zum siegen, flieg Adler flieg!" the choir sings as the music swells. The other side is 'Unser Kommandeur' an instrumental march peculiar to the unit, probably written for an officer now forgotten to history.
It is a Grammophon record with a Polydor label pasted over the top of it, quite strange. The record surfaces are in great E- shape, however the record is slightly warped in such a way that moving the disc on-and-off the spindle is tricky, perhaps one can attempt widening the hole at some point.
