EDITORIAL CONSULTANT Louis Untermeyer One of America’s most creative anthologists and an outstanding poet, biographer, and essayist, Louis Untermeyer is highly qualified to serve as editorial consultant for the Prose and Poetry En- richment Recordings. He has distinguished himself as a writer for the Office of War Information and has been “poet in residence” at leading universities; he is the compiler or author of some sixty volumes, including travel books, stories for young people, and a novel. In 1961 he was appointed Consultant in Poetry at the Library of Congress and in the same year represented the United States at cultural conferences in New Delhi and Bombay. When Mr. Untermeyer is not in Washington or on a lecture tour he lives at his two-hundred-and-thirty-year- old cottage in Connecticut. He has been seen importantly in a score of major Hollywood films, is nationally known in radio and television, and has established a unique place as narrator-soloist with leading symphony orchestras. Mr. Moss’ presentations at the Library of Congress are an annual event in Washington, D. C. He has performed in Paris at the Interna- tional Theater Festival and in Brussels at the World’s Fair. He recently represented the U. S. State Department as an American Specialist in Theater in a four month tour of seven Latin Amer- ican nations.
