Fallen Angels / It?s A Long Way Down Original US 1st pressing LP on Roulette records # SR 42011 TRACKS: Poor Old Man; A horn playing on my thin wall; Something you can hide in; Tell me a story; Silent garden; Look to the sun; One of the few ones left; I really love my mother; Look at the wind; Didn?t I; It?s a long way down; I?ll drive you from my mind. CONDITION: Strict grading is as follows: COVER,: VG (++) with a tiny amount of RW visible on the back above the illustration of the band. Corner and spine wear as you can see in the scan provided below. Nothing serious. Very tiny signs of RW are just now starting to show on the front but one must look really hard to tell. No seam splits WOC or anything. Best copy I have seen in a long time. VINYL: VG (++) Well played, but well taken care of. Some sleeve scuffs are visible. PLAY GRADES : VG (++) Very clean and quiet and full of vibrancy! MUSIC: A pretty competent 60s rock record is how I would describe the wild sounds on this. Similar to Love?s ?Forever Changes?. A very talented and underrated band is on display here. These guys used to open up for just about every big name that visited the Washington DC / Baltimore area and you wouldn?t think that the original songs would be this good. Well crafted songs, bluesy hard rock and loaded with fuzz with psychedelic splashes of melody and odd time signatures. Singer Jack Bryant is some what of a legend nowadays. RARE OOP Rates an R3 for rarity. Sold poorly at the time of release and not many were pressed. Also only had local exposure and was not distributed nationally to any great degree.
