Psych Folk LP Simon and Garfunkel Bookends First Pressing w Poster and BOTH HYPE STICKERS!
Beautiful first pressing 1968 copy with really nice condition poster, BOTH hype stickers and original price tag.
Vinyl--- NM/EX. Side 1 looks unplayed. Side 2 has an unfortunate very light line, too light to photograph.
Plates--- 1D/ 1D. Definitely first pressing.
Cover--- VG. Structurally solid, NO splits. Shrink has dulled and weakened over 54 years, has allowed some dirtwear to occur, as well as some minor shelfwear.
Poster--- Very beautiful VG+ to EX. Minimal wear. Starting to show light signs of white crease in places. Colors are still bold and punchy. Poster has startlingly NO finger divots, as is usually found on posters that have been repeatedly handled.
Best poster for this album I’ve ever seen.
Labels--- NM/ EX. Side 1 label is brand new-looking. Side 2 label has one extremely tough to detect spindle mark.
Inner Sleeve--- Plain white inner sleeve with die-cut hole for the label to show is present. Has yellowed over the years, has one small half-inch split to one seam. Otherwise, all other seams are nice and strong.
As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
