I took in a small collection of psych records recently. Most are in very playable condition! Not Near Mint, however.  Visually graded only.  I’m currently without a turntable.  Check my other auctions, okay?

Psych LP 1969 Captain Beefheart Trout Mask Replica 1st Pressing, RARE Insert EX Vinyl!

Not Near Mint, but this copy is certainly a beautiful set.

Vinyl--- EX/EX. VG+/EX.  Three sides have only light hairlines that mainly show up under a bare bulb.  Side 3 has more pronounced scratches that are still light, but can be seen with the naked eye, not felt with the fingertip.

Plates--- All plate numbers correspond to the Matrix numbers printed to the left of the playholes.

Cover--- G. Front has heavy ringwear.  Back cover and gatefold have light to moderate ringwear.  Seams have moderate shelfwear.  First top pocket has a 3-inch split, all others are intact.  Light moisture damage to the bottom left corner, not bad, though.

Labels--- VG/ EX.  VG/ EX.  Sides 1 and 3 have a stick figure drawing on them in red marker, for some reason.  (Or if you turn them on their sides, they could be initials, “OK.”)  Very faint, very few spindle marks, hardly noticeable unless you hold them under a bare bulb.  Other than the writing, those labels would also be EX.

Insert--- G.  One panel is split about 2/3 of the way.  Other than that, the insert would be a nice VG.

Inner Sleeve--- Original company Straight sleeves are present and in G condition.  Both sleeves have bottom center splits about 3 or 4 inches.  One sleeve has a side split about 2 inches.  Both sleeves are slightly wrinkled, and have small tears at the tops.  Both sleeves have mild record outdent.

Generic inner sleeves will be provided, so as not to damage your original Straight inner sleeve en route.

If you have a nice cover and insert, you’d have your keeper with this vinyl!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
