Description
For auction is an extremely rare artifact obtained from the "Cure of Souls" exhibit at the Psychedelic Solution art gallery in NYC. The exhibit ran through January of 1988, and focused on psychedelic art and included some used on blotter acid. This item is a souvenir from that exhibit which includes the following: a large, album-sized, four-panel fold-out cover, 2 double-sided psychedelic art inserts, four blotter acid artwork sampler inserts and five printed text liner note sheets. These are all pictured in the accompanying images. The first is the folded cover as viewed from the front, which is die-cut through the top panel that overlays the second, triangular shaped panel, and exposes the bright gold foil insignia in the center of that panel. This same front cover is shown unfolded in the second image, along with one side of the two double-sided artwork inserts. The reverse side of this cover is shown along the left side of the third image, along with the other side of the double-sided art inserts as well as the rest of the inserts, which are all single-sided. Surely very few of these souvenir packets were ever purchased and fewer still are around today, making this a psychedelic art collector's (acid) dream.
