Description
Rare US PROMOTIONAL COPY of Public Image Ltd's Second Edition double vinyl album. Released in 1979.
This album has the same tracks as the UK released Metal Box but the US didn't want the expense of a metal canister and 3 vinyl discs, so it was released as 'Second Edition' as a double vinyl disc album in a gate-gold cardboard sleeve.
A few PROMOTIONAL COPIES were released, of which this is one. There is a gold foil stamp on the bottom left of the front cover stating ' PROMOTIONAL COPY - NOT FOR SALE'
The record labels are Island Records.
The 2 black vinyl discs are in great condition. The sleeve shows some wear to the edges and corners (please study photos).
