Description

Description: Puccini: Tosca. Recorded by Lionel Mapleson, 1901, 1902, 1903. Jean de Reszke, Milka Ternina, Emma Eames. International Record Collectors Club 216. 10” 78 rpm record. Date: Condition: E visual grade.
I have no sound bite for this record. While I do have a modern turntable and a reequalizer so that I can adjust for the RIAA curve, I don’t have time to put sound bites up for all records. If you are concerned, contact me and I can give the record a quick, sample listen to see if there are any problems.

Comments: For the next ca. 6 weeks I will be selling from a moderately large collection of classical records. I don’t know how many items I will list as I have a day job and can’t predict how fast I can work through this. I plan to mostly sell by label. There are large numbers of individual labels (IRCC, L’anthologie Sonore, HMV, Parlophone, etc and 200+ box/album sets that are mostly pre-picture on the album.) The bulk of the records appear to be from the 1930s & 1940s but there are some older items at well. Shipping: If the item sells for more than the opening bid or if you buy more than one item, please wait for a bill. The shipping cost includes a charge for packaging (at my cost). The higher something sells for the more of this cost and the more of the cost of postage I will pay for. Since 1 box can ship several records, a big savings can be had for more than one item.
