Ampeaty (pronounce it as `amputee' to get the reference) sees the band return to their more recognisable sound with a host of killer riffs - in short Pungent Stench have got their groove back. The lyrics are typically twisted comedy genius, ranging from the amputee sexual fetish of the title (and some incredible booklet photos) to sexual torture in both the US Iraq interment camps and Torquemada and the Inquisition. Great production, great riffs and a great return to form.
