Rarity: Tell Us the Truth is the debut album by English punk rock band Sham 69, released in 1978. The first side of the album was recorded live in concert, while the other was recorded in the studio. Tell Us the Truth includes one of Sham 69's biggest hits, "Borstal Breakout", on the live side of the album. The album peaked at number 25 on the UK Albums Chart. This is a signed record cover that includes the full ‘classic’ line up of the band, with the following signatures identified:
Jimmy Pursey – vocals, production
Dave Parsons – guitars (please note Dave has signed ‘DP’)
Dave "Kermit" Tregunna – bass guitar (please note Dave has signed ‘Dave T’).
Mark "Dodie" Cain – drums
All four signatures are bold in dark blue biro-style pen and graded by me as a minimum 8/10 in terms of definition. The reverse of the cover is signed, and I have added an authentic advert from this period in the bottom right hand corner, and have had the album cover professionally mounted, framed and glazed.
Condition: the sleeve is in very good condition, and included in a frame that is professionally mounted, framed and glazed. Overall condition is excellent with minor markings on the bottom rear of the frame, caused by removal of ‘white tack’. This will not be visible on hanging the framed item).
