Description
Released by Pye in 1972, cat # 7N.45142; this is “Nobody’s Fool” by Cold Turkey c/w “ Sesame Street” by The Street Kids.
The A-side is written by Raymond Douglas Davies and was used as the theme tune to “Budgie”, starring Adam Faith.
It’s not clear who Cold Turkey were, but listening to the track you could make a case for it being Ray or Dave on lead. The intro sounds very much like its been lifted from “Animal Farm”.
The B-side is the legendary theme tune to “Sesame Street!”.
The record has been played literally once or twice in its lifetime. The labels are clean and unmarked. The playing surfaces are clean and look like a brand new records – which is basically what this record is. The record grades as MINT and comes in the correct company sleeve.
All of these 45’s come from the collection of a genuine 60’s DJ who cut his teeth in the ballrooms until moving into radio and production work in the late 60’s and 70’s.
