12. Single der legendären Holländischen R&B / Freakbeat / Psychedelic /Garage – Band. Auf Seite A ist eine sich steigernde Ballade mit kräftigem Ausgang. “We’re Gonna Make it“ auf der B Seite ist eine Art Pre-Punk Song, allerdings mit bluesigem Gitarrensolo. Dieser Sound ist für das Jahr 1971 recht erstaunlich und vor allem, es ist ein tolles Powerstück. Auch hier kommt wieder die große Bandbreite Band zum Ausdruck.
Condition: “Very Good Plus“ (“Excellent“) Ich habe den „Veronica“ Sticker nicht entfernt, da der Hinweis das die Single in der Collection des Piratensenders war, die Seltenheit der Single noch erhöht. Die DJ’s des Senders scheinen sie aber nicht oft gespielt zu haben, denn sie ist noch sehr gut erhalten. Die Single zeigt feine Oberflächenkratzer, die hauptsächlich durch das Rein- und Rausschieben aus der Hülle entstanden sind. Keine hörbaren gröberen Kratzer, nur in den Ein- und Auslaufrillen und an einigen ruhigen stellen ist vereinzelt ein ist leichtes Knistern hörbar. Die Hintergrundgeräusche beim ruhigern Part auf Seite B sind keine Kratzer, sondern ein nicht immer rhythmischem Handclapping das sich durch den ganzen Song zieht. Ich habe die Single mit Kopfhörern getestet, über Boxen ist das leise Knistern fast gar nicht zu hören. Auf beiden Labels zeigen sich jeweils rechts leichte schattierte Veränderungen in der Schwarzfärbung. Picture Sleeve:“Very Good“ Das Picture Sleeve zeigt an den Rändern leichte Abnutzungserscheinungen. Die Ecken sind angeknickt und ein Record Ring zeichnet sich ab. Auf der Vorderseite befinden 2 handgeschriebene Worte. (Siehe Fotos)
12th Single of the legendary Dutch R & B / Freakbeat / Psychedelic / Garage - band. Side A is an increasing ballad with powerful output. "We're Gonna Make It" on the B side is a kind of pre-punk song, but with bluesy guitar solo. This sound is pretty amazing for 1971 and, above all, it is a great piece of power. Here again is the wide range of band expressed.
Condition: "Very Good Plus" ("Excellent") I have the "Veronica" stickers not removed because the notice that, the single was in the collection of the pirate radio station, the rarity of the single is going to increase. But it seems that the radio DJ's of this station have not played it often, because it is still very well preserved. The single has fine hairlines caused mainly by the in- and outsliding from the sleeve. No audible coarser scratches, only on the in- and ougrooves are some quiet rackling audible. The background noise on page B are no scratches, it is not always a rhythmic Handclapping that runs through the whole song. I have tested the single with headphones, over loudspeakers the soft crackle is much lesser. On both labels, each right, light shaded changes in the blackening are visible.
Picture Sleeve: "Very Good" The Picture Sleeve has on the edges slight signs of wear. The corners are sightly bent and a Record ring is emerging on the sleeve. On the front are 2 hand-written words. (See photos)
