It is a CD-4 format quadraphonic recording, and what a lot of people don't realize is that it was half speed mastered in order to get the 45khz signal on the record, so it has a much better sound than an average stereo pressing.

The original butterfly label record is nice with no needle scratches. There are some small grey age spots and two swipe marks on one side from where fingers have touched the vinyl. The jacket is also in nice condition with no splits or bends. There is a fine notch cut at the lower left corner and some wear at the opening edge. The original inner sleeve that explains the quad process is included. This album is from a smoke free audiophile home. 

It has been professionally cleaned on a VPI 27 Typhoon record cleaning machine and then again on a Ultrasonic record cleaning machine.
