QUAD - Self-titled (Prescription Drug 3)
Record 3 in the 8 LP series of Prescription Records (legendary English 1990s subscription only label). All records were recorded at the studios of
SUN DIAL founder, Gary Ramon (who also ran the Prescription label), deep in the depths of an old disused Victorian Debtors prison
in the old part of London near the Thames at London Bridge during the late 1990's. A story in itself.
QUAD was (and still is) the project of SUN DIAL founder Gary Ramon.
Long spacious psyched out tracks with mellotrons, sitars, drones, and a ton of other unusual sounds. This was their 2nd vinyl release. Recommended.
Only 99 stock copies were ever made of these 8 records, and near impossible to find these days.
Here is an un played test pressing copy that has been in storage since those days.
Like the stock copies, this test pressing was also hand titled by Gary Ramon himself.
This rare copy is from his Prescription label archive, and we are selling it on his behalf. This is an unnumbered "x" marked test pressing copy with stock paste on sleeve and insert.
Mint condition. Sleeve has only very minor storage wear. Starting the bidding at its original price.
