Description

Nice lot of four vintage Columbia quadraphonic LP records.  These records are from the estate of my late uncle who was an avid audiophile.  As such, these records are used but have been well cared for.  I have no means to play them, but the vinyl of all four records appears very clean and free of any notable scratches and blemishes.  The covers show a few light corner bumps and minor shelf/surface wear but no splits.  I am not an expert on quadraphonic records or how to grade their condition, but I would not waste my time or yours with this auction if I didn't believe this lot had merit.  Individual album specifics:

  • Herbie Hancock - "Head Hunters" - CQ 32731 - probably the best of the lot, still in the original shrink wrap with original quadraphonic paper sleeve.
  • Simon & Garfunkel - "Bridge Over Troubled Water" - CQ 30995 - original quadraphonic paper sleeve
  • Johnny Winter - "Still Alive and Well" - CQ 32188 - nice original picture sleeve insert
  • Tchaikovsky - "1812 Overature" - MQ 31276 - original quadraphonic paper sleeve
