Description

This Japanese release of 'A Day At The Races' is in wonderful condition. It retains a fantastic glossy of new vinyl and it looks like new also and has no hairlines or scratches at all. I have play tested the LP in its entirety and the audio is sublime, as new if I'm honest. I would not be surprised if this LP had not been played at all prior to my play testing.
'Tie Your Mother Down' has the merest hint of static but no more than you'd find on a new vinyl. 'You Take My Breath Away' plays with superb audio and you can barely hear any background noise, it plays with amazing quality. During 'The Millionaire Waltz' there are a few light clicks in the 'my fine friend' section but apart from that it plays extremely well.
Side Two plays with the same deep rich audio and has no imperfections at all. There are no clicks or pops and almost zero static. The quality is first rate and plays like new. There is just a little distortion during 'Let Us Cling Together'.
The gatefold is near perfect except for a little rubbing at the bottom of the spine and the merest of rubbing on the bottom edge. Other than that it is in sensational condition with all edges and corners in excellent shape. As can be seen it also has the Obi which is almost as new, it just has very faint spotting towards the bottom on the inside.
