Description
A Night At The Opera EMI 100 : The First Centenary 1997 / The Vinyl Collection
This was released by EMI in 1997 to commemorate their first centenary. Whilst it is not sealed (as per The Freddie Mercury EMI 100 Album 100 I am selling) it remains in stunning condition and quite possibly unplayed prior to my play testing.

Visual grading
The vinyl is in pristine condition and retains that lovely glossy sheen of new vinyl. There are no hairlines or marks and no spindle wear on the labels. Now nearly 20 years old you won't find a better commemorative 1997 issue of this classic LP.
Play grading
I can confirm that the audio quality is absolutely first class. If this vinyl has been played before it has had no affect on the depth and clarity. I have listened to every track and the audio is superb. There are 2/3 of the faintest of static sounds at the beginning of 'The Prophet's Song' but hardly worth mentioning really! This is a final upgrade copy without doubt.
Gatefold cover
This gatefold is in superlative condition. There are no marks and the edges and spine are immaculate. One tiny pinch on the top right hand corner and I do mean tiny! It has obviously been hardly handled and looks as good as the day it was first released. The issue was released with a plain white polylined inner sleeve.
