A NIGHT AT THE OPERA (Holland) pressed on white vinyl

This very rare 1975 Dutch EMI limited edition release of this classic LP is in fantastic condition for its age and would add to any collection.  It is very rare also to find one in this condition.  

Visual grading

  Visually I don't think I have seen a better version of this LP and is a great example of this rare pressing.  Under a strong bright light there are no hairlines or scratches at all.  It has a fantastic glossy lustre that you see with new vinyl and it is incredible to see one as good as this.  

Play grading  

Considering its age and rarity this vinyl plays superbly well.  Side One plays with only light static at the beginning of 'Death On Two Legs' and from thereon there is no interference at all.  The audio quality is breathtaking!  It plays with amazing clarity and depth and no static or crackle to speak of.  'Seaside Renezvous' plays with only minor distortion and certainly a lot less than the standard black vinyl pressings.

'The Prophet's Song' does play with some crackle and interference for the first minute but then plays with sublime sound and I barely heard any static.  Even the 'now I know' section plays superbly well with no background noise.  Again the intro to 'Love Of My Life' is stunning with almost zero static, it sounds fantastic and is possibly the best version I have heard of this classic track.  The remainder of the side plays as near to Mint as is possible and 'Bohemian Rhapsody' quite simply plays like new.  The depth and clarity is stunning.

Gatefold cover

The gatefold is in Near Mint condition and has hardly any shelf wear at all.  It has a light creasing on the front towards the opening edge but can only be seen in a certain light.  The edges, spine and opening edge are in superb order and this cover has obviously been barely handled.

Labels

Both labels are in fantastic condition with almost zero spindle wear.
