Description

Original vinyl UK 1st pressing of the classic 1975 Queen LP “A Night At The Opera” containing Bohemian Rhapsody, You're My Best Friend and more. The superior BLAIR’S CUT.

In lovely condition and with matrix number which are;

Side 1: YAX 5063-2 BLAIR'S 

Side 2: YAX 5064-2 BLAIR'S- see photos.

The record has been thoroughly ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter and the vinyl has come up spotless and shiny with only faint scuffs which do not affect playback whatsoever. No feelable damage. Very clean labels and spindle holes.

Playback was monstrous! The dynamic range of this album is huge and blows the roof off in places. Modern reissues just don't cut it - this is how it was always meant to sound - loud, clean & with deep bass, and Freddie's distinctive soaring vocals taking centre stage in the soundscape. No jumping or sticking. Some clicks at the very end of S1 Tr 4  & light crackle in parts, mainly on the run in & between tracks, but nothing unusual for vinyl of this age.

The embossed gatefold sleeve is in strong & smooth condition with minimal wear to corners and edges. Some  spine wear & light discolouration in parts plus general handling marks, but overall very good with no writing, stains, splits tape or tears. 

The original die-cut printed inner sleeve is include & is in good condition.

Overall a lovely copy in sparkling clean condition which sounds amazing - all ready to pop straight onto your turntable & blast out!
