Description
Original vinyl 1st UK pressing of the classic Queen LP “A Night At The Opera”.
Fourth studio album by Queen featuring the classic hit “Bohemian Rhapsody” released 21/11/1975.
Embossed sleeve, Die cut original inner and the very earliest -2/-2 matrix endings.
Matrix numbers:
Side 1: YAX 5063-2 Blair’s 1 GDR
Side 2: YAX 5064-2 Blair’s 3 GDD
The vinyl is EX to EX+ overall. It has a few very light non feelable marks when viewed under strong light. This has no impact on the sound at all which is beautifully loud and clear throughout. No background crackle between tracks and certainly no pops, clicks, sticks or jumps. Really nice playable condition and sounds superb throughout.
Embossed Gatefold cover. The sleeve is VG+ to EX- It would grade higher but for the opening edges having been previously taped to prevent damage. The old sellotape has fallen off and left the dried glue behind. Could be carefully scraped off (probably). This is the only issue.
The original die cut corner inner sleeve is EX to EX+
