Description
Up for auction is a copy of the debut LP by Queen, released in 1973 on EMI, cat no EMC 3006, a UK pressing. This is a genuine first pressing, with -3U matrix numbers on both sides, & “Kip – Huggypoo Kissy” & “Again” inscribed into the dead wax. This copy comes complete with a book featuring press blurb, band member Q&As, promo photos & the complete words & music to the band’s first two LPs. This is how I purchased the package; whether it was sold through shops this way back in the mid-1970s I have no way of knowing…
Condition: vinyl is near immaculate, with only a minor mark or two on each side, none affecting play. Only a couple of spindle trails on each label. There’s a little edge & corner wear & a few minor creases from where the book has been stored inside the cover, but no serious damage. The book also has a minor crease or two on the cover, but is otherwise problem-free. VG+/EX/VG+ (cover/vinyl/book).
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item in pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence! Any questions? Need any more photos or an audio sample? I'm only an email away.
Payment: UK- cheques (preferred) or Paypal. Rest Of World- Paypal. Email for other accepted methods of payment. Shipping: £3.70 (UK 1st class), £4.70 (UK recorded) £6.50 (Europe) £9 (rest of world-airmail). Insurance recommended for orders over £25; I am not responsible for parcels that go missing in the post!
