Visual grading

This early pressing has a stunning glossy sheen and at first glance looks 'as new'.  It is only when you look under a strong bright light that you can see a very small number of very faint sleeve removal hairlines.  It really is in lovely condition and there are certainly no scratches.  There also isn't a great deal of spindle wear suggesting it hasn't been played too much.

Play grading  

'Bohemian Rhapsody' plays with great quality and only very light static here and there which is in no way intrusive.  For such an early pressing it has excellent clarity and no distortion on the louder sections.  There are no loud clicks or pops to be heard.  Overall this is a wonderful version of this classic.  'Another One Bites The Dust' plays with near Mint quality and would be if not for 3/4 mega light dust ticks.  100% stunning!  'Killer Queen' is perfect aside from one click in the middle and the remainder of the side plays in similar fashion.  A couple of clicks and minimal static but the majority of the side plays with Near Mint quality.  'You're My Best Friend' and 'Don't Stop Me Now' are Mint, as simple as that, the audio is immaculate.  The final track 'Save Me' so often has crackle on the intro but there is only the lightest of static here.  A superb version.

'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' plays with stunning quality from start to finish, it is near immaculate.  'Somebody To Love' has minimal static on the intro and then plays with very impressive audio throughout and hardly any 'background'.  'Now I'm Here' is incredible and is easily one of the best versions I have ever heard, no interference at all.  '...Loverboy' also plays with perfect precision as do the remaining tracks.  The clarity on this side is astounding and even the quiet intro on 'Flash' has no obvious 'background'.  The depth and clarity is first class and this side will not disappoint.  A wonderful example of such an early press.

Cover

The cover as stated is still contained within the original shrinkwrap and has is only open at the opening edge.  The edges and spine have no rubbing or knocks and the shrinkwrap has no splits.  Only the two right hand corners have a little wear.  The opening edge itself is a little 'wavy' and this is no doubt due to being compressed by the shrink over the years.  Obviously the front and back covers are super clean.  Overall this a lovely example of this cover and so rare to find in the original shrinkwrap.

This is in near perfect condition with only one tiny, barely visible 'nick' on the top edge.  It is remarkable clean and has no marking or creasing at all.

The labels

They have no marking or writing and only a small amount of spindle wear.
