On offer here is the very first pressing (3U/3U) of Queen's debut LP with the very rare 'Kip Huggy Poo Kissy' and 'Again' on the dead wax.  The vinyl here is of superior quality and is practically free of hairlines and scratches and has been superbly well looked after.  It just has one small scuff type mark at the end of 'Keep Yourself Alive' but in no way affects the audio.  Visually the vinyl is absolutely stunning and it retains that glossy sheen of new vinyl.  I don't think I've seen or heard a first pressing as good as this one. 

Considering the age and rarity of this LP the audio on Side One is truly of a very high standard.  'Keep Yourself Alive' plays with a deep rich sound and barely any interference.  This is how vinyl should sound.  The depth you get here is nothing like what you get on CD or dare I say a download.  The rest of the side plays extremely well with hardly any static.  The only major background noise I heard was 3/4 clicks during 'Great King Rat' just over half way through.  'My Fairy King' has superb audio and almost no interference.

'Liar' begins Side Two with minor lead in static and then plays with stunning audio.   Again with a great depth and clarity with perhaps the slightest hint of distortion.  The quality continues and I reiterate there is hardly any static, just clear crackle free audio.  As always 'Jesus' does play with a hint of distortion (I think all pressings do).  

The Garrod and Lofthouse is in fabulous condition for 42 years old and has been hardly handled I would say.  There is a little shelf wear on the bottom edge but the top edge and thin pinched spine are in superb shape.  The opening edge is very clean as is the reverse side.  There are no marks on the cover at all.  There are a few very minor creases on the edge of the spine but then you would expect that.  I hope the pictures do this first press cover justice as it is honestly in wonderful condition when you take into account the rarity and age of this classic LP.  

In summary this is a quality first press with stunning audio and barely any interference.  It is so rare to find a 3U/3U Huggy Poo Kissy - Again etching in such a quality condition.  Anyone would not be disappointed with this LP!
