Queen : I'm Going Slightly Mad 12'' Vinyl Single (Gatefold)
This very collectable 12'' single is in superb condition, both the audio and the gatefold cover. 'I'm Going Slightly Mad' has some minor 'hiss' at the start but it is very much in the background and non-intrusive. The remainder is immaculate and grades as Mint without doubt. 'The Hitman' on S2 plays with incredible power and depth and again grades as Mint and I can confirm 'Lost Opportunity' is of the same standard. This is high quality at its very best, there is just no interference whatsoever. Wow!
The vinyl still retains a stunning glossy sheen and has only been played once in my opinion. I can only see one barely visible spindle trace on the S2 label and there are no hairlines or scratches at all. There is just a minor 'lift' of the record on one section but it doesn't qualify as a warp and does not affect the audio in any way.
The gatefold is one of the cleanest I have ever seen. It is near perfect aside from a small number of faint 'spots' around the inner spine. The edges and spine are in fantastic condition and as can be seen it still has the original sticker top right on the front cover. A stunning example.
