Innuendo A2/B2 (Promo LP)

This very rare 'promotional copy' of Innuendo contains publicity material from Lipsey Meade the Public Relations Company who were representing Queen at the time. It includes three A4 sheets of promotional information and one photographic print. It is dated 21st Jan 1991 and the album was of course released on 5th Feb 1991.

There is also a 'Manufacturers Property Not For Sale' sticker on the back of the cover.

The audio on both sides is Ex (Ex+ in many sections)

Visual grading

Visually the vinyl is in wonderful condition with no perceptible hairlines or scratches and I would say it has barely been played as there is no spindle wear at all.  It retains a lovely glossy sheen.

Play grading  

The title track has a little crackle at the beginning but soon dissipates. It then plays with great depth with no further interference except for some crackle again at the beginning of the quiet 'Spanish guitar' section.  There is some intermittent static during 'I'm Going Slightly Mad' but is not intrusive.  'Headlong' and 'I Can't Live With You' then play with impeccable audio with barely any background noise, top quality audio.  There is faint static at the start of 'Ride The Wild Wind' but again soon disappears to play with excellent clarity and depth although there is some crackle at the end.

'All God's People' on Side Two has some light clicks here and there but still plays clearly.  '...Days Of Our Lives' is a fabulous listen and has near perfect sound quality.  'Delilah' only has a handful of faint dust ticks and the same can be said for 'Don't Try So Hard' although there are three louder clicks in the middle section.  'The Hitman' plays very clearly with some light distortion and 'Bijou' has superb audio with no interference.  The classic 'The Show Must Go On' ends the side with a little distortion again but overall plays with real quality and only a light crackle right at the end. 

Cover

The cover is in overall excellent condition although there is some foxing on the front and less so on the reverse.  However, it is only very light and not at all obvious.  The edges and spine are in superb shape and only two corners have a minimal amount of wear.  As stated there is a 'Not For Sale' sticker on the back cover.

The lyric inner is in absolutely perfect condition.

The labels

They are in excellent condition with no detectable spindle wear. No marks or writing.
