💎 Collector's Notes (Why This Copy is Special) This is a true time-capsule piece. What you are looking at is a pristine, Factory Sealed 1978 pressing of Queen's iconic Jazz album. This specific copy is the highly sought-after RCA Music Service Club Edition (R-133993), making it a fantastic find for variant collectors and completists.
Here are the highlights that make this copy museum-grade:
-
Fully Sealed & Unplayed: The vinyl has never seen a turntable and remains untouched since 1978. The shrink is beautifully intact across the entire right-side opening.
-
The Shrink Wrap: The original tight shrink is fully present, bright, and clean. The vintage $199 price sticker is safely affixed to the outside of the shrink wrap, leaving the actual jacket completely unaffected!
-
The Cover Art: The iconic pink "JAZZ" lettering on the front cover is distinctly embossed, retaining its striking dimensional pop beneath the protective plastic.
-
No Cut-Outs: There are absolutely no promo saw cuts, punch-holes, or clipped corners, and importantly, no barcode—certifying its true late-70s vintage pedigree.
🔍 Condition & Flaw Transparency I grade strictly and conservatively so you know exactly what you are getting. Because this album has been meticulously preserved, flaws are virtually nonexistent. The jacket is rigid with incredibly sharp edges and a perfectly legible, squared spine.
-
Note on wear: There is only the absolute faintest hint of natural corner bumping on the extreme tips (most notably the bottom left front corner) simply from sitting upright on a shelf for 45+ years. There is no ring wear, and the shrink wrap overlap on the back is factory-standard. It is an immaculate, flat, and flawless jacket.
