Description
Queen : Made In Heaven A2 / B2 (Cream Vinyl)
This limited edition from 1995 plays to a standard that is so rarely found today. Pressed on cream vinyl the audio is 'as new' except for a minimal amount of very light static at the start of S1. I recently purchased this from a private owner and he assured me it had never been played before and that is more than evident now that I have played it myself. The audio truly is exceptional with a clarity and depth that you so rarely find today. It is without doubt one of the finest examples of this first pressing that I have ever sold. A FINAL UPGRADE for sure.
The vinyl is, as you would expect, visually stunning and there are still some vinyl 'flecks' around the spindle hole that you find on un-played records. There is obviously no spindle wear on the labels.
The gatefold is up there with the best I have EVER seen! It is so 'clean' and is practically 'as new'. The lyric inner is pristine and the three posters are near perfect with only a little 'spotting' on the back of two of them.

This vinyl is visually stunning and it remains in an untouched pristine condition with no marks or scratches. Having inspected it closely I cannot even detect a single hairline and this has obviously hardly ever been removed from the inner. It has an immaculate glossy sheen with no spindle wear and the run out grooves and labels are also in superb condition.
Play grading
The quiet intro on 'It's A Beautiful Day' so often has a lot of static/crackle but I am pleased to say this one plays very clearly with only a couple of minor static ticks and the bare minimum of static. The clarity is very impressive and as the vocal begins the audio is stunning with no 'background' at all. It carries on in the same precise way and the instrumental end section is perfect. It's rare for this opening track to play so well and Near Mint is more than deserved.
As always I play every track in full and 'Made In Heaven' is immaculate from the first groove to the last with no interference. In fact I cannot overstate just how superb the playback is here! The sonic quality could not be any stronger and this is Mint and then some! In essence it plays as an un-played vinyl should!
'Let Me Live' is of the same 'high end' standard and plays with stunning power and depth throughout. The definition of the audio here is breathtaking! You can turn it up to max with no fear of distortion and Mint is again more than deserved.
The classic 'Mother Love' is of a standard that you so rarely find today. The clarity is exceptional and to put it simply there is no intrusion on the audio whatsoever! From the quiet intro, throughout every vocal section to the final 'baby cry' (!) this is 'as new' and the clarity cannot be underestimated. This may well be the finest version I have ever heard. With not even a single dust tick this is Mint in every way.
Many collectors will know that 'My Life Has Been Saved' on this first pressing is often susceptible to a certain level of distortion. I am delighted to say that is not the case here! This is as 'clean' as when first pressed 25 years ago. An outstanding version that easily grades as Mint

'I Was Born To Love You' on S2 plays with stunning precision from the first groove to the last. Again there is no 'background' not even on the fade out. Another Mint track.
The quiet intro on 'Heaven For Everyone' plays to perfection with not one dust tick let alone anything more and it continues to play with immaculate quality. The clarity, depth and warmth of the audio is STUNNING and there is nothing to fault. It is 'as new' right to the final note and Mint is again an easy grade to give.
What follows is quite possibly the most stunning version of 'Too Much Love Will You' that I have ever heard. It is of course a relatively quiet track and yet there is no 'background' to report. The clarity is phenomenal and from start to finish this is as 'complete' a version that you could ever wish to hear. The super quiet end section has no 'background' whatsoever and a Mint grade is richly deserved. Wow!
'You Don't Fool Me' is of the same quality. The audio is flawless with so much depth and that is helped in no small measure by such a strong bass sound. You know the grade by now...!
'A Winter's Tale' plays beautifully and (again) there is not a single dust tick to be heard. An immaculate version all the way through with a perfect fade out also. Mint
The slow build up on 'It's A Beautiful Day (reprise)' is nigh on perfect with only a couple of barely audible dust ticks. As the vocal comes in the audio is 'as new' and it proceeds to play to the same standard as the tempo increases. This entire 'high octane' section is as good as the day when first released and to the very end it plays with incredible quality. A stunning Mint finish to this immaculate first pressing.
In summary this very collectable album plays as well as you would want it to! The clarity, warmth and definition of the audio could not be any more impressive and just to reiterate this has clearly never been played before. Coloured vinyl often does not play as well as standard vinyl but that is certainly not the case here. With only very minor 'background' at the start of S1, and still so much less than usual, the sonic quality throughout is 'as new' I am confident in saying.
The Gatefold
I have sold a number of these down the years and this is definitely one of the finest covers I have ever encountered. It has that strong and robust 'look' as if it has hardly been handled and it is remarkably clean for 25 years of age. The edges are as close to perfect as could be with only a couple of minor 'rubs' and the wide spine is 'as new' for sure. There is no corner wear which is a genuine rarity and both of the opening edges have no handling wear either. The front and back cover are immaculate with no marking and the inside of the gatefold is equally as impressive. A stunning as near to perfect cover as is possible. Looks like it has just been removed from the original shrinkwrap!
The Lyric Inner, Posters & Leaflet
The glossy lyric inner is also in pristine condition with no side splits, marking or creasing. The posters are near perfect with only some light 'spotting' on the reverse side of Brian and Roger and the small advertising flyer is perfect condition.
The Labels
They are 'as new' with no writing or marking and no spindle wear either as stated. Stunning examples!
