Made In Heaven A2/B2

On offer here is a stunning original 1995 UK release of this limited edition cream vinyl.  I purchased this recently and the previous owner was adamant in saying it had never been played and indeed there is no spindle wear whatsoever.

It includes the three posters and the gatefold is one of the cleanest I have ever seen.

This vinyl is exceptionally clean and there is no spindle wear at all.  On close inspection I can only detect one very faint hairline on the first track of S1 and a couple of other mega tiny ones.  Overall this is a superb example of this collectable album.

Play grading  

As is so often the case 'It's A Beautiful Day' plays with some crackle on the intro but once the vocal begins there is only light static here and there and is not intrusive.  The music still plays very clearly and there are no clicks or pops.  Intro crackle on the first pressings is very common sadly even on a previously unplayed vinyl.  I am pleased to say the next three tracks play with stunning clarity and are as near to Mint as could be.  'Mother Love' in particular for such a quiet track is hugely impressive in that there is no 'background' whatsoever.  Superb playback.  'My Life Has Been Saved' ends the side with wonderful clarity again, just a little distortion on the end section and it remains a great listen.

'I Was Born To Love You' has a little static on the intro and then plays with real power and depth and no intrusive interference.  The remaining tracks do not disappoint, a little intermittent static on 'Too Much Love Will Kill You' but it certainly doesn't overpower the music as it is very much in the background.  'You Don't Fool Me' is nigh on perfect as is 'A Winter's Tale', just a hint of quiet intro static on the latter.  The 'It's A Beautiful Day' reprise has light crackle on the intro and then plays extremely well thereafter.

Gatefold cover

This is a superb example of this gatefold.  It is so clean and is certainly one of the best I have seen in a long time.  The edges have no shelf wear and the wide spine is very near perfect with only a couple of very small 'dings', hardly noticeable really.  The opening edges are 'as new' with no handling wear and the corners are also in great order with barely any rubbing.  The front and back covers are super clean and the inside is immaculate.  Overall this is a fantastic example of this cover and you won't find many better.

Lyric inner

This is 'as new' with no marking or creasing and no splits.  Absolutely perfect.

The Labels

They are in pristine condition with no marking/writing and no spindle wear as stated.

The Posters

They are in superb condition with no creasing or age related marks.  The flyer advertising their catalogue is in perfect condition also.

Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable / B&W 684 Speakers
