Description
This is the extremely rare EMI Zimbabwe release of Made In Heaven that only had a limited edition run of only 250.
I have play tested the vinyl and the audio quality is quite honestly superb. With only minimal crackle on the lead in Side One plays practically 'as new'. There are no clicks or jumps at all and without doubt has been hardly played. It retains that glossy sheen of new vinyl and plays like it! Under an intense light the vinyl is in stunning condition and I cannot detect a single hairline.
Side Two again plays with wonderful clarity with only minimal background noise. You can hear a little crackle during 'Too Much Love Will Kill You' and right at the beginning of 'You Don't Fool Me' although it is not obtrusive.
The running order of the LP is the same as the UK release although 'I Was Born To Love You' is at the end of Side One rather than the beginning of Side Two. The reason being is that 'It's A Beautiful Day (Reprise)' is longer on this Zimbabwe version than on the UK release making it even more rare and collectible!
The cover was only ever manufactured in Zimbabwe using thick card as per so many other LPs released there. Not of superb quality it nonetheless is in excellent order for its age. A small mark on the front and on the spine and a some faint marking on the reverse it has still stood the test of time. And as printed in the lower right hand corner "Limited Edition Pressing of 250".
A wonderful opportunity to own a very rare piece of rock history with great audio.
