QUEEN - You get one rare Promotional Test Pressing 45 rpm white label from 1980.  This is a legitimate Test Pressing record by Queen and is not a bootleg.  (See info. below). Condition: It looks like there is a very tiny crack on the outer edge of the vinyl about 1/16" because it shows less on the opposite side mostly in the empty vinyl area where the song begins. This comes from a radio station and it is common to have the song title hand written on the label.  This one is written only on one side and reads "Queen Play The Game".  It is written very lightly and faint in pencil so this could be erased if you wanted.  I have others and most of them were not played or appear unplayed.  The vinyl is glossy and the record was play tested on both sides and sounds great.  The label has no tears, no tape, no stickers, no stains, no ring wear. There are no scuffs, marks, or scratches other than what is described above. 

The following is what is stamped on the trail-off area of the vinyl, information you may want or not:  Mastered at Allen Zentz L.A. Calif.  The following is etched in handwritten style on the trail-off area, more information you may want or not:  R5645 EM-46652-A 3AR  Following these numbers is what looks like a small 5 leafed flower.  The other side has the same information except for the number ES-46652 instead of EM and the flower is more complete with more leaves down the stem.  The 46652 is the Elektra/Asylum number for this 45 and the ES side and the EM side might? refer to Stereo and Mono versions.  If that is right the song writing on label is on the Stereo side which radio would prefer.  The opposite sides were usually never played. If you google Allen Zentz you will see the many people and groups who have used this recording studio and have mastered these works.  It shows that Queen's LP The Game was one of the records recorded or mastered there.  So this is not some kind of bootleg or homemade record. This is all the information I have about the writing, etching, history.

SIDE 1. Play The Game. 1980. Condition:  Vinyl is VG+ (Better than Very Good) to M- (Mint Minus).  Writing on one label side.  Elektra/Asylum Sleeve is VG+ (Better than Very Good).    

SIDE 2. Play The Game. 1980. Condition:  Vinyl is VG+ (Better than Very Good) to M- (Mint Minus).  Blank label.

The vinyl on both sides is visually graded.  Grading is like Goldmine magazine:  M (Mint) known to have been never played.  M- (Mint Minus); VG+(Better than Very Good); VG (Very Good); VG- (Less than Very Good); G+, G various stages of Good, usually poor condition and listed only because of its rarity.
