QUEEN – MINT – MEGA RARE - QUEEN 1 EMI / GLOBUS RELEASE – 1992 BLUE SPECKLED COLOURED VINYL

This is NOT the 1992 blue / pink edition generally listed (50 copies made) NOR IS IT the 1994, blue speckled multi-coloured edition (500 copies made).

The item for sale here, is a 1992 blue with green/black/white multi-coloured vinyl with correct matrix numbers.

Between 1992 and 2007, EMI officially issued several very beautiful different coloured vinyls of the 1st Queen album in collaboration with their Czech partner GLOBUS. Many of these are quite common (the solid colours for example which sell for £20 - £40 typically) and some pretty rare (1992 blue / pink edition mentioned above for example £ ???).

The item being sold here is NOT shown on that illustrated list.

The only reference I have found is on another respected Queen fan website (although no longer live it remains a good reference source), http://www.pcpki.com/queen which shows this record as “rare” but not confirmed as existing. So, this record “blue with green/black/white multicoloured vinyl, 1992 release” is recorded as only ‘reported’ to exist.

Please see my photographs which confirm it does exist and I would say therefore that this is an EXTREMELY RARE item for any Queen collector out there.

As an aside, I’d also be keen to hear from other collectors who have any information which may throw more light on this record.

So far, I have already sold my extensive Led Zeppelin collection privately to collectors and dealers and I now have my Queen collection to sell. I will be selling many Queen records through ebay and my remaining records to dealers as I simply don’t have the time to sell everything individually.
