Queen : Scandal 12'' Single (Special Etched version)
This limited edition plays to a fantastic standard and the etched signatures of the band can clearly be seen on S2. The cover is also in lovely condition.
The 12'' version of 'Scandal' plays so well from the very first groove. There is a minimal amount of barely audible static on the intro and the only issue across the entire track is a couple of light clicks in quick succession about two minutes in. The remainder plays with a precision and depth that is so rarely heard on this 30 year old record. 'My Life Has Been Saved' has no interference at all and grades as Mint it is stunning and the 7'' version of 'Scandal' ends the side with superlative audio once more. The quiet intro is superb and it then also grades as Mint as there is just no 'background' to be heard whatsoever. Apart from the two clicks on T1 this is 'high end' audio at its very best and will not disappoint.
The playing surface is visually stunning and I have never seen 'cleaner'. There are no scratches and only a couple of very faint sleeve removal hairlines. There is no spindle wear and in fact may have never been played before as there are still some vinyl 'flecks' around the spindle hole. The etched side can be 'read' clearly and has only a few faint hairlines. A fine example of this record.
The cover is in great shape and only the bottom edge has a very small amount of rubbing. The corners have hardly any wear and the front and back cover have no marking at all. There are a couple of minor creases but overall this remains in excellent condition.
