Description
Sheer Heart Attack (3U/4U) first pressing
This first pressing is in great condition. As per the description the audio plays to a high standard and the laminated cover has only very minor wear. It has been superbly well cared for down the years. A superb first pressing.

Visual grading
This record has been very carefully handled. There is some spindle wear but when looking under a strong bright light I could only detect a a few very fine hairlines. There is a longer one on Side Two but it has no affect on the audio.
Play grading
Side One plays with high quality audio with absolute minimal interference. There is a hint of minor static during the quieter sections of 'Brighton Rock' but still plays with a power and clarity that is hard to beat. The remainder of the side is almost of Mint standard the audio is that good and it's hard to believe this was pressed 42 years ago. There is no interference and 'Lily of the Valley' plays without any background noise. Absolutely stunning!
'In the Lap Of The Gods' has a little crackle at the beginning but soon disappears and then plays with Mint quality. The rest of the side does not disappoint and there is a depth and richness of the sound that you rarely hear. 'Dear Friends' only has the lightest of static here and there but still plays as new vinyl often plays! The clarity is stunning across the whole side with a sonic quality that is of the highest order. Impeccable quality for an LP of 42 years.
Cover
The G & L laminated cover is in wonderful condition for its age with only very minor wear. All the edges and thin pinched spine are in immaculate condition with no rubbing. There are a few small creases on the laminate around the edges but show me a copy that hasn't! The laminate itself remains in great shape with no splits or lifting anywhere. This is certainly one of best first press covers you will see.
Lyric inner
The paper lyric inner is exceptionally clean and only has two tiny marks and one minor split of approx 2 cms on the right hand edge just below the cropped corner. This one by the way has two cropped corners. Apart from that it is a lovely looking inner with just a little minor creasing also. Still one of the best you will find.
