Description
queen somebody to love mega rare ORIGINAL (this is not a reissue,reprint or repress) Australian ,limited edition, MIS-SPELT/MIS-PRESSED 2 track 7" vinyl single.
this particular pressing was withdrawn in Australia due to the mis-spelt "A" side label.
somebody to love is spelt......SOMBODY TO LOVE.
only advance copies were given out to press and radio stations.
as soon as the mis-spelt labels were realised, the record company rapidly withdrew all copies and they were destroyed.
this is the only the 2nd copy i have ever seen with the misspelt label, making it a true Australian rarity. a jewel in an serious Queen collector's crown.
it was manufactured by Elektra/WEA Records Australia in 1976.
this 7" single is in only good condition.(it has light scuffs and marks over the surface, and there is some initial crackling when played).
it comes with an Australian WEA Records generic single sleeve.
the catalogue number is E-45362/MX-183239.
