Description

From what I can gather, this very early mix was unsatisfactory and the few that were pressed were to be returned to the record company. However, a very few were not. The plain sleeve dhows the date "1 June 1973" which is a full 5 weeks before the official release date of July 6th. This is a one sided promo 7" playing the b-side of their first release titled "Son And Daughter". Side 2 is blank. Matrix number stamped is B1-U in the run off with the catalogue number and "R" stamper at 3 o'clock. "KT" tax code also stamped. Side 2 has "2" stamped and "44" stamper in runoff and "LPFB" which I can't find any information on. The vinyl surface is a super EX+ and it plays great but for a very slight stain which I dare not try to remove. I havent dared clean it as there is pencil writing on the label.
